JASMINE - WINTER (JASMINUM NUDIFLORUM) -

Bears rich, yellow FLOWERS on leafless stems during winter, followed by profuse, narrow, green LEAVES in spring and sumMEr.

STYLE : Suitable for informal upright, slanting, semi-cascade, root-over-rock and CLUMP styles.

WARNING : Shelter from winter winds. Avoid waterlogging, especially if frost expected.


Care Info

JASMINE - WINTER (JASMINUM NUDIFLORUM) -

REPOT : In spring after FLOWERS have fallen, every second year when young and based on annual inspections when it grows older.

SOIL : Free draining soil : 40:60 GRIT:organic.

PRUNE : Flowers appear on previous years wood so prune just new SHOOTS in spring to one set of LEAVES. Prune second FLUSH to SHAPE at the end of the sumMEr.

PINCH : Thin out old flowering shoots in spring.

WATER : Water well (DAI>DAIly) in summer , keep moist in winter.

FEED : BALANCED FEED every 2 weeks in spring, low nitrogen in summer and one dose of nitrogen free in autumn.

WARNING : Shelter from winter winds. Avoid waterlogging, especially if frost expected.
