This months Programme - May 2019 for Ayrshire Bonsai
Hi All Ayrshire Group Members.
Firstly a great big thank you to all for their efforts and contributions towards our hosting of Scottish National Show at Troon yesterday. Our next scheduled meeting is this Sunday 12th May 2019 at Alloway Village Hall as usual. 1.30pm start please. The theme for the day is Trees in Bloom so bring along what you can for the display tables. There will be the usual admin issues to discuss and imparting of any further information re coming events ie Gardening Scotland. We will also discuss and debrief the National Show which was again a susccessful undertaking for us and the hobby in general. Well done all.
This months Programme - May 2019 for Forth Valley Bonsai
Those who can make it to the Broompark Centre in Denny on Tuesday 28th. May to help load the gear for Gard. Scot. are very welcome, the usual suspects will be enough, probably 11am but I have still to confirm this.
All hands on deck at Ingliston for around 2pm please, the more people we have helping the earlier we will be finished with the set up.
Our next meeting is Tuesday 4th. June and will be a review of Gardening Scotland, just can't get enough of Bonsai can we?
Our wee Summer Sunday School is 23rd. June at the Fankerton Village Hall 1pm 'til 5pm, if anyone else asks "is that a Sunday" i'm gonnae hit them!

We will have the pleasure of a talk by Robert Porch who, among other things, is one of the advisors to the Lanarkshire group and the National Collection. He is experienced in talking to audiences of all skill levels, so there should be something for everyone to enjoy and learn from. All welcome.
For the year 2018 - 2019, meeting dates will be split between Binny Plants and the Almond Valley Heritage Centre in Livingston. Dates are as follows:
